In this position, you will join our AI team!

The team currently consists of two AI Engineers, a Product Manager, and a Team Lead. We collaborate closely with a dedicated UI/UX Designer, a Frontend Engineer, and a QA Engineer. The team is part of a group with three other teams who also work on the core features of our product, and with whom we also collaborate closely.

Our work focuses on building machine learning solutions that directly power exciting new product features, such as turning messy product data into structured attributes, categorizing products, and detecting and resolving data quality issues for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and evolve the services of the BlaBlaCar Backoffice

About the role:

As a QA Engineer, you’ll join the Partner Programs & Portfolio Management project, the engine behind Hippo’s own insurance carrier platform – supporting both the PAPR (Partner Program data pipelines) and Risk Modeling charters within the broader Data & Carrier domain. You will partner with a Senior QA Engineer and Sr. SDET within the project.

Our team keeps the project reliable and scalable: the system that MGA partners, underwriters, reinsurance, and finance teams depend on to run the business every day. You’ll ensure that new features and platform changes – from data ingestion pipelines and catastrophe risk models to underwriting workflows and policy lifecycle changes – are properly tested before they go live, working closely with Engineers, Data Analysts, and Product Managers from early requirements all the way through to release sign-off.

This role gives you hands-on exposure to testing complex, business-critical workflows in a live insurance carrier environment, including cross-team collaboration across the entire domain.

What will you do?

  • You’ll deeply collaborate with Engineering teams. This includes actively participating in the development of new features and initiatives, from initial requirement analysis and test planning to execution, regression testing, and final release sign-off.
  • You’ll partner closely with Product Managers. This means you will be responsible for prioritizing testing efforts, clarifying requirements, challenging assumptions from a quality perspective, coordinating Business Acceptance Testing, and advocating for the needs of our customers.
  • You’ll work closely with SDETs to expand and maintain our automated test coverage for new features and regression testing. You’ll also collaborate with other manual QA engineers on cross-team and cross-BU projects.
  • You’ll proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

  • Have 3+ years of QA experience, with a focus on manual testing (Black Box, White Box, and Grey Box).
  • Have a good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Have a good understanding of testing integration, functional, end-to-end.
  • Have a good understanding of microsevices architecture and API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Have experience with SQL (select, join, groups, limits, alises, etc.)
  • Have experience with test case design, execution, and reporting for complex systems (front-end and back-end).
  • Have an ability to create test cases and collections that exercise the requirements and business rules in collaboration with PMs.
  • Worked with test case management tools (preferably XRay).

NICE is assembling a core engineering team to build the internal AI platform that powers intelligent automation across the enterprise. As IT Software Engineer in the Orchestration AI Development team, you will move beyond using AI tools, you will build them.

You will implement the foundational components of NICE’s AI architecture: the integration layer that connects enterprise systems via MCP, the agent orchestration engine, the Models Gateway, RAG pipelines, and the tooling that makes every developer at NICE more productive. NiCE is seeking attentive, goal-oriented, and technically talented professionals to join our delivery and engineering teams as Professional Services Software Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for the remote implementation, configuration, and integration of NiCE Surveillance products, and for designing, developing, configuring, and enhancing enterprise-scale Actimize implementations for leading banks and financial institutions. You’ll provide technical expertise across the full project lifecycle—from sales-to-services transition through project closure—collaborating with architects, business analysts, R&D, Customer Support, and clients, and applying both agile and waterfall methodologies to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that help safeguard organizations against risk and compliance challenges.

How will you make an impact?

  • Install, integrate, and configure Actimize products and recording solutions, and develop and configure software features in line with defined methodology, design specifications, enterprise standards, system requirements, and customer-specific needs.
  • Plan and perform unit, functionality, and systems testing for performance and reliability, and support client UAT and data validation activities to ensure solutions meet design requirements.
  • Work in multi-disciplinary teams with architects, business analysts, R&D, and the implementation team to resolve technical questions from project kick-off through handover to the support center.
  • Provide technical expertise across the entire NiCE product suite — including application overview, technical support, and quality control — throughout all stages of the project.
  • Communicate and reconcile design flaws found during delivery and suggest enhancements to meet client requirements while adhering to product frameworks.
  • Collaborate independently with Business Analysts, R&D, and Customer Support teams, relaying customer technical feedback for product enhancements and fixes.
  • Effectively manage time, maintain regular communication and updates with customers and management, and demonstrate flexibility for after-hours, weekend, client-site, and cross-time-zone work as per project demands.
  • Document lessons learned and resolutions in the NiCE Knowledge Base, mentor junior team members, and conduct code reviews.

Have you got what it takes?

Experience & Education:

  • 4-7 years of experience in enterprise software development and/or product implementation and integration.
  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical degree with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with experience working in global and matrix organizations and multi-cultural teams across countries.

Professional Capabilities:

  • Experience working in financial / banking solutions domain. (Must)

You will be part of a geographically dispersed IT Architecture team with a focus on supporting our global IT Application development teams.

You will collaborate with the Cloud Engineering Team in defining cloud standards and governance, and withProduct Development to define their technology transition into the cloud.

You will work on automation of processes, testing and security; and on document standards in readiness for governance approval.

You will design scalable enterprise cloud frameworks (AWS control Tower, Azure Landing Zones etc), define and standardise tooling; and improve software performance metrics.

You will bea trusted hands-on advisor for IaC and CI/CD pipelines, while evangelising DevOps/Cloud culture and practices; and consulting with business to build new channels between development and operations teams.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

You have:

  • 2 years of general experience both in on premise and Multi Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenStack);
  • Strong experience in DevOps environments and tooling;
  • K8s Experience
  • Hands on experience with Terraform, Cloudformation, Kubernetes and containerisation;
  • Strong prior experience with creating architecture and general technical documentation;
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps pipelines;
  • The ability to manage multiple projects / tasks concurrently and drive them to completion;
  • The ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while identifying ambiguity and driving for clarity;
  • Documentation and Diagramme as code (structurizr) benefitial.
